Why 27 Prints?

Why 27 Prints?

The number 27 may seem like a random number to have as your limited edition print number. But there is a meaning behind it. It may seem small to some but it's a huge part of me. The number 27 changed my life for the better.

I release my limited edition prints in editions of 27 in honour of the day my daughter was born. Her arrival changed everything—it reshaped my world, deepened my perspective, and gave me the courage to truly pursue my passion for art while caring for her. Being out in the world with her each day—walking, noticing light, quiet moments, and small beauty—helped me rediscover a creative passion.

Restricting each limited edition to 27 keeps every one of those pieces intimate and intentional. All my limited edition pieces come from something personal and I want collectors to feel they are holding that personal connection, not only to the original painting but to a moment in my life. Each print carries the quiet strength, tenderness, and love that inspired the work in the first place.

I found out I was pregnant a week before my wedding, she was there for the new beginnings in my husband and my life, because of her I got my passion back so it's only right to honour her in every piece that comes from love and family. This is the reason behind "Love's Floral" being my first limited edition piece. This piece was inspired by my wedding flowers, flowers that when I look at remind me of my marriage to my husband but also the love I felt finding out we were going to be parents.
