Preserving a love story through flowers
Some flowers are beautiful because they bloom for only a short time. Others remain with us because of the memories they hold.
Ever in Bloom began as a deeply personal commission to preserve a wedding bouquet, a collection of flowers chosen to celebrate one unforgettable day. More than simply recreating a photograph, my goal was to capture the emotion behind it. The joy, the promises, and the beginning of a new chapter.
Every bloom was painted slowly in oils, allowing each layer to build depth, softness and light. From the delicate baby’s breath to the gentle blue accents and velvety roses, I wanted the bouquet to feel as though it could almost be lifted from the canvas.
Within the arrangement is a sentimental brooch, a quiet reminder that the most meaningful bouquets often carry stories beyond the flowers themselves. It is these personal details that transform a beautiful arrangement into a family keepsake.
Creating wedding bouquet commissions is always a privilege. Fresh flowers inevitably fade, but the memories they represent deserve to last far beyond a single day. My hope is that this painting allows those memories to be revisited for years to come, becoming part of the couple’s home and family story.
This piece has now found its forever home, where it will continue to celebrate a marriage, a moment, and a love that remains…
Ever in Bloom.
